In the following pages, you will find the lesson plan on using Princess Mononoke in the classroom. The lesson plan has been designed to take place over the course of two classes (approximately 50-60 minutes) in a post-secondary institution classroom. Educators in High School can also consider using this lesson plan.However, please alter the lesson plan according to the needs of your respective classroom. • Lesson 1- This page provides an overview of the lesson plan, including discussion questions about anime and Studio Ghibli (including a short documentary on the history of the studio) and promotional material for the movie including original Japanese and North American release posters. This lesson will also explain the task expected from students as they watch the movie. 

• Lesson 2 - This class will be focused on a discussion about the movie after students have watched it. Discussion questions will be included. The final assignment will also be introduced on this page. 

• Where to watch Princess Mononoke- This page will provide links to where students can watch the movie if they do not have Netflix.
